Horizon Engineering's turning operations are performed on precision CNC lathes such as our Okuma Cadet Big Bore™. We commonly hold tolerances to +/-.0002". We have extensive experience in the turning of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, inconel and all types of plastics. We can handle your full production or short run needs.

The Okuma Cadet has a thru bore capacity of 2.500" using Hardinge™ S-26 precision collet pads. The machine is equipped with a programmable tailstock allowing very accurate journal and center work to be preformed.

All programs are done offline and are loaded via RS 232 from our network's programming sysytem.
